As many of you have heard on the news or read in your local newspapers, there is some controversy brewing over the use of drywall produced in China and used in some homes here since 2003.
Some people are alleging that this material is causing pipes & wiring to corrode, creating foul smells, and possibly making people sick. I certainly am not a scientist or doctor, just a lowly REALTOR so I cannot make any definitive statements about this issue.
However, the State of Florida is taking such claims seriously and is initiating investigations to see if indeed there is an issue that needs to be addressed by authorities.
